Vietnamese Tea Ceremony
Vietnamese Tea Ceremony
Press Street Gardens
3718 St. Claude Ave.
New Orleans, LA 70117
To kick off the weekend, there will be a Vietnamese Tea Ceremony hosted by the bride's parents, Minh and Jackie. In traditional Vietnamese culture, the tea ceremony is the wedding ceremony, and always takes place at the home of the bride's parents. However, as we are having a destination wedding, the tea ceremony will take place at Press Street Gardens, a charming outdoor facility that is a part of NOCCA.
At the tea ceremony, we will pay respect to our parents, families and ancestors. We will be serving traditional Vietnamese food.

To get around New Orleans, we recommend that you use Uber (which is reasonably priced and easy to navigate) or rent a bike close to your hotel. New Orleans cabs are perfectly safe, but hard to come by. We do not feel that it is necessary to rent a car, but should you choose to, New Orleans is not a difficult city to drive throughout.
Note that transportation will be provided to the wedding venue on Saturday. We encourage that you take the wedding bus, as it will also be a festival weekend. Traffic will be inevitable.
Following the wedding reception, there will be two buses: one going to the hotel, the other going to our after party. We recommend that you head to the after party to continue the celebrations.
